About Vladislav

Accommodation
4-star Villa on the Lido of Venice

A gracious and charming villa, overlooking the Venice Lagoon and immersed in the tranquility of cedars and pittosporums, born in the late 1920s as a private residence in Late Art Nouveau style in Venice.

Behind the wrought iron gate, throughout the year Villa welcomes its guests with the warmth and care of a home and the elegance and style of a 4-star hotel, managed by the same family for four generations.

The extraordinary position between the sea and the lagoon of the island of Lido di Venezia, the tranquility and traditional hospitality, the elegance and style of the rooms, the extreme attention to detail, are just some of the many reasons that make the stay at Villa a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

From Our Travelers

"Thank you so very much for organizing and planning the most incredible painting trip to Croatia. Carolyn and I realize how much work you had to do in order to arrange for our meals, transportation, and accommodations of such high quality in the midst of a pandemic year that seemed to never end. Every detail was so well planned and we really appreciate your ability to make everyone’s trip perfect. It also let Vlad do what he does best and that is to paint and teach in plein air, and for that I am personally thankful as I have learned much in the process." George V.

"How can I ever thank Vlad and Marina for organizing such a fabulous trip to Moscow, Suzdal, and Ples? It was beyond anything that I could have imagined. I was privileged to see these sites with them and to benefit from their historical and cultural insights. And to think that I had the opportunity to paint in each location! Just wonderful. I am amazed at how much our group of watercolorists accomplished during our time in Russia—Vlad offered lectures and demos, guided us through splendid art museums, and gave us plenty of time to paint while Marina shephered us to the major cultural venues in Moscow and even organized a very special evening of ballet at the Bolshoi Theater. We were able to see and do so much only because of Vlad’s indefatigable spirit and good humor and Marina’s generosity and amazing organizational skills. I am grateful to Marina for allowing me to see Russia through her eyes. I truly enjoyed getting to know her. And I will always be endebted to Vlad for his guidance, his kind and rigorous critiques, and for sharing his artistry with me." - Dorothy B.
